A short stroll north down 29th Street will bring you to the beach and a breathtaking view any time of the year.

Birch Haven is located between two provincial parks: Beach areas 4 & 5. Both have walking / biking trails, picnic tables, playgrounds and offer full access to the beach. Park 5 has swings and slides. Park 4 has climbing platforms and slides.

Around the corner on Mosley St, you’ll find: shops, laundromat, restaurants and familiar fast food outlets like Tim Horton’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and McDonalds.

There’s also a bank, a large Dollar Store, Shopper’s Drug Mart, M&M Meats, a Chiropractor and a Massage Therapist. Close by are a bookstore and other shops.

When you go past McDonalds, you’ll be on the bridge overlooking the Nottawasaga River and one of the two marinas.

A few blocks to the right (West) on Mosley are several other delightful restaurants and more shops such as Stedman’s and Curves fitness centre for women.
