Wasaga Beach

Wasaga Beach is Ontario's premiere summer resort town. Dubbed the "World's longest freshwater beach", this town has been the place to be almost since the turn of the century. People would flock to the sandy shores during the day and the lively dance halls at night.

Years later, the beach is still as popular as it was in this photo. Plenty has changed. You can't drive your car on the beach and the Beach Mall (pictured) is a pedestrian mall.

Dance halls are now nightclubs, fashions and cars are different. However, the main attraction, 14 km's of soft sand and clean water, night life, restaurants, shopping and attractions still draw faithful crowds.
