YOUR GUIDE TO WASAGA BEACH
Caribbean Jerk Festival
TOP STORIES
Caribbean Jerk
Festival
Saturday May 17th, 2008
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Angie's Place presents the 5th Annual
Caribbean Jerk Festival. Each year Angie's
place has hosted a festival with some of my
favourite things; live music, great food and
fun. It just so happens that Angie's is one
of my favourite food vendors in this area.
As I write this, I am again enjoying a
take-out Chicken Roti. Last night I didn't
feel like cooking and I had the Ox Tail
dinner (peas & rice). We are so lucky to
have this restaurant here because without
it, we would be doomed to hamburgers and
bland chicken wraps. If you want to eat and
dance till you drop, stop by.
Cost: $15 each or two for $25.00
Location: 5968 27/28 Sideroad, Nottawasaga,
Stayner, ON.

FIRE? WHAT FIRE?
May 10 2008
The Toronto media did a lot of harm to
Wasaga Beach with their coverage of the main
street mall fire. Sadly, they made it appear
as if Wasaga Beach died that night and
nothing could be farther from the truth. We
lost a few bikini stores. The majority of
the strip is exactly as it was.
The Town of Wasaga
beach will be hosting a circus in the place
of those few stores that were lost, which in
my opinion is a far sight better than
browsing for bathing suits. We still have
several stores of that kind open on the
strip and you won't lack for bikini's.
Instead, you'll be treated to some
entertainment which is for most women at
least, more fun than trying on bathing suits
and having to look at ourselves in a full
length fun-house mirror.

Best Of The Web
I don't normally post funny Internet links
in this area of the website, but this was an
absolute scream! If you are old enough to
remember those old videos warning you of the
perils of venereal disease, you are going to
love this walk down school film and newsreel
memory lane

- The old
saying "build it and they will come" is
a fantasy. If your website is not
getting the hits it deserves, maybe
people just aren't finding you. With
billions of pages to list, the chances
of your site getting a good ranking in
popular search engines may be very poor
indeed.
Wasaga.com enjoys
terrific rankings in most major search
engines and directories. Listing your
business on our site makes sense. If you
already have a website in Wasaga Beach,
ask us about our ad pages or banner ads.
If you are looking to have a new website
created, we are happy to help you there
too.

Health on the Web
Jan 9, 2006 There is a wealth of information on the web about every conceivable health concern. Some of this information is dubious at best, but look closer and you'll find some really good informational sites. And you might even have a laugh or two when researching a subject as serious as colon cancer.
