RecPlex Community Centre

The RecPlex is home to the YMCA, Prime Time Club, the Wasaga Beach Community Theatre and the Lion's Club.

The RecPlex was built to replace the Oakview Community Centre. The old building which housed the Oakview Woods was integrated into the design. The grounds of the RecPlex are commonly referred to as simply "Oakview Woods" by some residents.

There is an outdoor skating rink, tennis courts, a dog park and a skateboard park situated on the parkland which is adjacent to the RecPlex; plus a bandshell behind it. You can follow the trail which begins behind the RecPlex to Shorelane road which is steps from the beach.

Wasaga Stars Arena

The Wasaga Stars arena is situated on 13 acres of land and offers a hockey / public skating rink. The rink is available for private rentals. There is a sports camp on the grounds which has 6 seasonal cabins and a recreation hall with a 100 person capacity.
