EmailOn December 16th 2009, Bell is making changes to their email servers. If you have a domain hosted with us, and use our email server, this may affect your Outgoing Mail. To avoid problems, you will need to change your Outgoing Mail Settings. 

 

 If you are using Bell as your ISP, you will need to change your outgoing mail settings in Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, or any email software you are using. You will also need to change your settings for your Blackberry or other smart phone.

The new settings are as follows: 

Outgoing Mail:
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): yourdomainname.com (please call if you are unsure what to use here)
Port: 1025 (the default is 25, but use this one)

Make sure you uncheck any settings that ask for authentication. You won't need those.
