Wasaga Beach is more than a great tourist destination. Residents have always known this. We also know it's a pretty good place to live too. 

Wasaga.com isn't just a website for and about Wasaga Beach, it is for and about dedicated, engaged residents. While there are resources out there on the web that will provide lists of things that exist here, we aim a little higher. Because we live and work here, we want to be involved in a deeper discussion about the present - and future of Wasaga Beach.

If you browse through this website you will get to know some of your neighbours. We created the series "Wasaga Beach: at your service" to introduce you to the people who do business here. We have featured artists and musicians over the years and we have brought you articles, written by locals, and you can be an active part of this website too. 

In the 1990's, the Town of Wasaga Beach came up with the slogan "The Beach is just the beginning...." Although it was a little grandiose at the time; considering we couldn't even buy underwear without leaving town, the message was quite clear. The people who live here are passionate about their town.

We encourage residents to participate in this website. It is your online resource - a community newspaper if you will. It's a place where you can post your photos, talk about your town, submit reviews of your favourite things, or just leave a comment. Without your participation, this website cannot thrive.
