The newspaper is reporting a Celebration of Life Party for Dale Rosebrugh at the RecPlex on Thursday, March 1st 2012 at 3 p.m. Dale was a popular citizen of Wasaga Beach, well-liked by many. He died this past Friday at the age of 60. 

Celebration of Life parties are becoming a popular way to say goodbye to people who would normally feel uncomfortable with solemn traditional funerals. They are sometimes combined with small, close family and friend funeral services but the newspaper does not mention if that is the case for Dale.  

The beauty of these Celebration of Life events is that people are encouraged to remember their loved one in a more positive, life-affirming way. A loss of a friend and family member can be one of life's most traumatic moments but for a few hours, people will remember Dale Rosebrugh as he was in life, a fun and likeable guy. 

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association - Ontario
