Routes

Wasaga Beach Transit operates on 2 continuous overlapping loops with a bus transfer system.  Each direction operates on a 35-40 minute cycle.
 
Route 1 starts at Archer Road and Cedarlane Drive and proceeds west down Cedarlane Drive to Eastdale Drive.  The bus then travels north to River Road East and then heads east to the Stonebridge Town Centre.  It then travels north on Main Street onto Mosley Street heading west to the Riverbend Plaza.  After passing the Riverbend Plaza, the bus travels west on Mosley Street to Sunnidale Road South and then turns onto to Knox Road West.  The bus continues along Knox Road West to the Medial Centre on 45th Street.  It departs the Medical Centre heading north along 45th Street stopping at the Superstore and then proceeds to Shoppers Drug Mart. From there it begins its return trip.
 
Route 2 starts at the Wasaga Stars Arena and travels West along River Road West to the Stonebridge Town Centre.  After stopping at the Stonebridge Town Centre, the bus travels along Main Street to River Road West to the Riverbend Plaza continuing along Mosley Street to Highway 26.  At 45th Street the bus stops at Shoppers Drug Mart, the Medical Centre and the Superstore.  The return trip travels along the same route in the opposite direction.
 
A bus transfer system is available allowing passengers to transfer between routes without paying an additional fare.  Transfers are good for an approximate 45 minute time period.  Transfer points are located where the buses meet and are as follows:

  • Stonebridge Town Centre
  • Riverbend Plaza
  • Sunnidale and Mosley Streets
  • The 45th Street area

Route 2 starts at the Wasaga Stars Arena every hour on the hour from 7a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

Monthly bus passes commencing in September will be avaliable for purchase on August 15, 2011.  Pricing is as follows:
Adult - $40.00 per month
Senior/Youth - $30.00 per month

WASAGA BEACH COLLINGWOOD TRANSIT LINK

There is now a transit link between Wasaga Beach and Collingwood.  The transit link operates as a continuous loop Monday to Saturday between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.    The service will operate on a half hour schedule starting in Wasaga Beach at 45th Street at the Superstore linking to the Collingwood Bus Terminal at 100 Pine Street.
 
The bus for the Collingwood-Wasaga Beach link is fully accessible and fare will be $2.00.
 
Transfers between the link and the local transit systems are not permitted.
