Pat Damaren: June 11th 2012

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Pat Damaren on June 11th, 2012. Pat had been battling cancer for a very long time.

The Celebration of Life for Pat will be hosted at Country Life on Thursday June 14th 2-4pm. More information to follow.

Lion's Club Donates $200,000 to RecPlex

Wasaga Beach Lions Club made their final payment to their $200,000 pledge to Recplex.

Wow! They made it! Wasaga Beach Lions has made the final $15,000 payment to complete the $200,000 pledge for the Wasaga Beach Oakview Recplex. When the town was preparing the plans and application for the Governments Building program, the town was required to raise $2 milliion dollars.

Power of Attorney Information Session

(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – The Wasaga Beach Community Policing Committee in partnership with the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police would like to invite all to this informative session. None of us want to thinking we are getting older, but we are. None of use want to think we may need to in the future give someone control over our finances to help us, but we may.

On Thursday, June 14th, 2012 between 2:00 and 3:30 p.m. the Wasaga Beach Community Policing Committee is hosting an information session in the Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce boardroom at 550 River Road West, Wasaga Beach.
