The third side is the beautiful golden sand beach with its gentle shallow waters, ideal for children. This 14 kilometre beach is said to be the longest fresh water beach in the world. Ideal for families, Black Forest Cottages provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere within the hustle and bustle of one of Ontario's most popular resort towns, Wasaga Beach. The area's many forms of entertainment for people of all ages, from swimming, golfing, go-carting, paint ball, hiking, biking, sea-doo rentals and fishing charters to dining, quiet walks and spectacular sunsets. The downtown strip is a 10-12 minute walk along the sand, and restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, local post office, banks, restaurants, supermarkets and the liquor and beer stores are within a 4 minute drive. All of our units are fully equipped for light housekeeping with flush toilets, 1 double bed in each bedroom, linens, pillows, blankets, 2 towels per bedroom, colour cable TV, kitchen utensils, coffee-maker, toaster, microwave and charcoal BBQ.
