Things to do on a rainy day....

Don't forget to bring a couple of your favourite games with you when you visit Wasaga Beach.

   

Once in a while it has to rain to keep our flowers happy.

  • When the flowers are happy, the animals and birds are happy.

  • When the flowers, animals and birds are happy, they make happy noises all day.

Things to do in Wasaga Beach when it rains:

  • Visit one of the many local gift stores to take home a souvenir of Wasaga Beach.
  • Visit historic Nancy Island. You can see a real ship from the War of 1812! 
    Nancy Island also has a great theatre where you can watch a movie and there are daily events scheduled all summer for kids.
  • Put on your raincoat and go outside. Catch raindrops on your tongue, jump in some puddles, make mudpies and pretend you're a duck. A little rain never scares a duck.
  • Look at the Events Pages to see if there are any indoor activities going on in town like a yummy bake-sale. Many of the outdoor activities are still fun even when it rains as long as you remember to wear your rubber boots and raincoat.
  • Spend some time at the Public Library. They have lot's of great books to read. They even have some computers in case you miss yours at home.
  • Rent your favourite movie on video or take a trip to Collingwood to visit the movie theatres.
